Marketing Manager, Lewis Center for Church Leadership 

Position: Marketing Manager, Lewis Center for Church Leadership
Full-time (35 hours per week). Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. 
Salary based on skills and experience – excellent benefits included.

Position Summary: This position is responsible for growth in awareness of the Center's work and resources, use of Leading Ideas electronic newsletter, purchase of Lewis Center products, and support for the Center by developing and implementing (in cooperation with other Lewis Center staff and building on the marketing efforts now in place) an ongoing, comprehensive marketing plan to reach key constituencies through the most relevant communication vehicles.

Qualifications: A successful applicant must have a college degree; experience in marketing and communications; proficiency in relevant media and software; an understanding of how congregations and denominations function; and knowledge of communication outlets used by church leaders. Other necessary skills include the ability to assess the effectiveness of websites and online communication strategies and to work with web designers and technicians to implement strategies; experience in using social networking as an institutional communication tool; and effective communication skills, including writing, proofreading, an eye for design, and basic desktop publishing skills. Seeking a self-starter who can operate in a team environment, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
