Gammon is seeking a dynamic, charismatic, visionary leader to lead this institution as President-Dean.
As Chief Executive Officer, the President-Dean is expected to:
• Administer the affairs of the institution under the direction of the Board of Trustees;
• Recruit students and raise funds to support them;
• Raise funds for the advancement of the institution and its endowments;
• Represent the institution at various levels of the church, in the community, and in the public;
• Guide the Board in developing strategic plans and directions for the future.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Person(s) seeking the job must possess the following qualifications:
Administrative Skills
Three to five years of leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to surround her/himself with competent colleagues to whom responsibilities may be delegated, working in a collegial style of management, and has demonstrated fund raising experience. Can read a balance sheet and balance a budget.
Academic Strengths
An earned Master of Divinity Degree, or equivalent, from an accredited institution. Must have demonstrated ability to attract academic and scholarly respect in the ITC community.
Church Affiliation
The person must be a LAY or CLERGY member of The United Methodist Church and has demonstrated leadership in the local church and beyond.
Communication Style
The person must be highly articulate, concise, and authentic, and values current technology as a means of communicating.
Personal
The person must possess strong family values, a strong devotional life, a strong sense of self, a sense of call; a pastoral sense; no skeletons in his/her closet; and exhibit an engaging and outgoing personality.
OFFICE LOCATION:
Person must be prepared to move and live in the Atlanta area and operate out of the office at 653 Beckwith Street, SW, Atlanta, GA 30314.
BEGINNING DATE: Negotiated.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE: Negotiated.
