Full-time Director of Music Ministry

Position Description
Degree requirements: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Music - Master's or PhD preferred
Experience requirements:  Minimum 4 years experience in church music leadership. Expertise in organ and piano accompaniment preferred; AGO certification preferred.

Other weekly services: n/a
Occasional services per year: 16
Weekly rehearsals:  2-5
Choirs & ensembles at church:  Adult = 1, Youth = 1, Children's = 2, Handbell = 2
Choirs & Ensembles that this position will be expected to direct/accompany: Adult Chancel Choir - traditional and blended. Handbells Adult/Youth after Easter/through summer and fall. Available to accompany youth/children rehearsals when needed.
Other music staff:  Assistant Director (paid); Elementary Choir 2nd thru 5th grades (paid); Middle School & Cherub choirs (volunteer); Handbells adult and youth (volunteer January thru Easter)

Compensation
Hours per week: 40
Salary range: Commensurate with experience and PAM guidelines
