THE GLENN BURLEIGH MEMORIAL CONCERT CHOIR TO HOST

NEW MUSIC SEMINAR & ANNUAL CONCERT 

featuring

Dr. James Abbington, Emory University, Atlanta, GA

The Glenn Burleigh Memorial Concert Choir will host Dr. James Abbington Saturday, November 6 and 7.  

On Saturday, November 6, Dr. Abbington will lead a choral music reading seminar held to showcase some of the latest gospels, spirituals, anthems and service music published by GIA Publications in their African-American Church Music Series. Registration is now open at www.giamusic.com/aacms. The reading session will be held at The Shalom Community Christian Church, located 2227 Pinecroft Road, Greensboro, NC.

Sunday, November 7 at 4:00pm, the Glenn Burleigh Memorial Concert Choir will present its 9th Annual Concert, featuring Dr. James Abbington as guest conductor and organist. The concert will be held at The Shalom Community Christian Church, located 2227 Pinecroft Road, Greensboro, NC.  The program will include a presentation of the late Glenn Burleigh's masterful work, JESUS IS THE KING, now published by GIA Publications, Inc.  Concert is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
